This Micro Monday I’d like to recommend @belle, an iOS developer who has been blazing through writing a new Android Micro.blog client, Pico. When she’s not doing that (and often when she is), she posts photos of her adorable fluffy white dog!

On this Micro Monday, I’d like to recommend Baldur Bjarnason (@baldur), who I have listed in my notes as “came for the photos of Iceland, stayed for the useful links” (about society, web development, and technology in general).

Listened to: Micro Monday – Micro Monday Extra: Late Night In The Airstream with @aaronpk at XOXO Aaron brings up some interesting points and I wholeheartedly agree with him that the most important thing about the indieweb and owning your content is to own your domain name. Micro Monday reminds me of a TV show we used to have in Australia in the 90s called Front Up. Andrew Urban would randomly interview people walking down the street, and it was fascinating & relaxing.

Had a great time talking to @macgenie for the latest Micro Monday podcast. She made the whole interview thing fun and relaxing. And she deftly edited my nervous babbling down to something halfway coherent. Thanks, Jean!

On this Micro Monday, I’d like to recommend @mikepj (Mike Piatek-Jimenez), “App developer and photographer from Central Michigan”, whose recent photos from an abandoned mental hospital were both beautiful and ghostly (in more ways than one).

For today’s Micro Monday, @vasta joins @macgenie to talk about why M.b first interested him, the impact of words, and the challenge in maintaining inclusive communities. It’s an important discussion with a lot for us to think about and improve.
